8 days Mohare Danda Trek Highlights
Overview
The Mohare Danda Trek is between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain canyons and is a relatively unknown path.
Compared to some of the other most well-traveled pathways, such as the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, or the Ghoreapani Poon Hill Trek, it is one of the greatest trails for seeing the Annapurna Himalayan area quickly while providing access to the most pristine natural and cultural treasure.
Mohare Danda is the name of another magnificent vantage point that is easily accessible off the beaten Himalayan route to observe the unique tapestry of culture and tradition walking along the several typical Himalayan settlements.
Mohare Danda is elevated at an altitude of 3,300 m/10,827 ft above sea level and protected under the Annapurna conservation area.
One of the greatest family-friendly and affordable trips to go on is the hiking path, which is rather easy to access and covers most of the major features of the Annapurna region in 8 days.
Starting with your family, children and elderly folks who are still in good enough physical shape to appreciate daily life outside of the city, it could be a fantastic alternative from the well-known Ghorepani Poon Hill hike.
The stunning mountain scenery from the Mohare Danda
From the outset of the journey to the Mohare Danda, which commences in Pokhara, a city renowned for an endless array of tourism activities like boating, rafting, kayaking, paragliding, and much more, you will be rewarded with seemingly endless views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges.
Unlike other long, arduous treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal, they look especially magnificent from the Mohare Danda, especially early in the morning and in the evening when the sun paints the sky in colorful hues over the Himalayan peaks, giving birth to the most unparalleled landscapes to come across from the elevation of just 3,300 m. This adds an incredible thrill to the entire journey.
Best Season for Trekking to Mohare Danda
An excellent trekking destination all year round, Mohare Danda is a comparatively short trip in the Annapurna region that does not surpass the height increase of more than 3,300 m at Mohare Danda itself.
Therefore, whether it's spring, autumn, summer, or winter, the ideal time to visit Mohare Danda typically relies on the preferences and experiences trekkers and visitors are looking forward to.
Spring is generally recognized for its breathtakingly beautiful scenery, which is peppered with a variety of wildflowers, particularly various species of rhododendron in full bloom.
Autumn, on the other hand, is appreciated for its stable weather, gorgeous clear skies, and ideal temperatures for experiencing the trek to the fullest.

Good to Know
Accommodation during the 8-day Trek Mohare Danda
The lodge and teahouse are the lodging options for Mohare Danda Trekking. We can get decent facilities with cozy hotel accommodations in the Kathmandu and Pokhara areas. Every lodging provided by Mohare Danda Trekking is twin-shared.
We will manage dorms with adjacent bathrooms during the expedition. We have to share the bathroom at the teahouse. In lower altitude hiking regions, Pokhara and Kathmandu provide single rooms; higher elevations may not be able to accommodate them.
Meals during the Mohare Danda Trek
Only breakfast is provided at the Pokhara and Kathmandu locations. There will be food provided for all meals throughout the Mohare Danda Trek.
We can savor Nepalese cuisine along with other dishes like Tibetan, Continental, Indian, Italian, and so on in the Annapurna area.
We have breakfast and lunch at the teahouse along the trail, and dinner is served at the lodge. Based on the menu, you can select from a variety of breakfast, lunch, and supper options.
Permits for Mohare Danda
Indeed, the Mohare Danda hiking path is part of the Annapurna Conservation Area. As such, you need to get the TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) card and the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit, which are the two essential admission permits.
Each of the travel, trek, and tour companies that have been approved by the Nepalese government may simply arrange for these permits, which are provided by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN).
