8 days Bhutan Tour: 7 Nights, 8 Days Highlights
Overview
The 8-day Bhutan Cultural Tour Package is the ideal option for those who want to experience Bhutan's spirituality, beauty, local culture, and traditions all at once.
This journey will include visits to several monasteries, the Paro valleys, Thimpu sightseeing, the Bhutanese highest mountain peak on the route to Trongsa, the Chumey Valley in Bumthang, and Wangduephodrang Dzong and Punakha Dzong in Punakha.
The world's highest glacier peaks, the verdant hills, and the Pa Chu River, known locally as the "silver river," will all be magnificently and attractively visible throughout this Bhutan vacation package. The Paro Dzong and Ta Dzong are located above the town in the Paro valleys.
You will also see Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples constructed in the Himalayas, and Rinpung Dzong, which has a lengthy and enchanted history. Thimpu provides a fantastic fusion of heritage and modern.
The National Library, the Institute for Zorig Chusum (also called the Painting School), the National Memorial Chorten, the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, the Handicrafts Emporium, and Trashichhoedzong are among the places to see in Thimpu. If the sky is clear, enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountain peaks on the way to Trongsa.
These include Tsendagang, Masagang, Terigang, Jejegangphugang, Kangphugang, Zongphugang, and Gangkar Puensum, Bhutan's highest mountain peak. The Chumey, Choekhor, Tang, Ura, and Alpine forests are the four valleys that you will traverse in Bumthang. Go to Wangduephodrang Dzong, which is located where the Punakha and Tang rivers converge. Additionally, have a tour of Punakha Dzong before returning to Paro via car.
Best Season to Visit Bhutan
Bhutan is accessible throughout the year, although fall and spring are the ideal seasons to visit. The months of March through May are particularly lovely, with various flowers blooming in the various valleys.
Even at the highest points, the weather is cold. The ideal time to enjoy stunning views of valleys and mountain peaks is when the sky is clear, the temperature is dry, and the humidity is lower. During these months, the temperature ranges from 3 degrees Celsius when traveling to the high passes mountain region to 25 degrees Celsius inside the valley.
Just remember to pack a cap, light clothing, sunglasses, and clothing that is appropriate for the chilly environment. However, you won't be remaining in this frigid weather for an extended period of time.
March through May is the same as September through November. You may expect the same temperature and vistas, but March through May will be the best time to see the flowering flowers.
Bhutan is also accessible throughout the winter months of December through February and the summer months of June through August. These months are ideal if your primary goal is to visit monasteries and temples because there are fewer tourists at this time of year, which will help you avoid the crowds.

Good to Know
Accommodation during the 8-day Tour of Bhutan
In cities, accommodations are usually offered in twin rooms; however for an extra charge, a single supplement may be requested.
Our lodges often provide dormitory-style lodging because it can be challenging to obtain single or double rooms in the mountains during the busiest times of the year. Providing our visitors with hygienic and secure accommodations is our top focus.
Meals during the Bhutan Trip
Meals on an 8-day trip to Bhutan are usually included in the package and include a combination of continental, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisine. What to anticipate is as follows:
Breakfast is typically offered at your accommodation and consists of a variety of continental foods such as bread, eggs, cereals, and fresh fruit, in addition to traditional Bhutanese specialties like butter tea (Suja) and karaang (ground maize).
Lunch and dinner, which often consist of well-known Bhutanese specialties like Ema Datshi (chili and cheese), Phaksha Paa (pork with red chilies), and red rice, are frequently eaten at neighborhood eateries or the hotel. To suit a variety of palates, there are also plenty of Indian and continental selections.
Visa Requirement for Bhutan
To enter Bhutan, visitors (except from those from Bangladesh, India, and the Maldives) need to get a visa, which can only be obtained from an authorized Bhutanese travel operator.
The visa procedure requires full payment for the travel package, which includes a USD 40 visa fee. Clearance is granted when payment has been confirmed.
A visa clearance letter, which is necessary to enter Bhutan, is then provided. The authentic visa is stamped into your passport upon your arrival at Paro International Airport. This process ensures that visitors visiting Bhutan go on guided excursions.
