Best Season for Trekking to Annapurna
Like many other nations, Nepal has five distinct seasons: spring, summer, fall, monsoon, and winter. Autumn and spring are the two primary trekking seasons out of these for the 14-day Annapurna Circuit Trek and other area treks in Nepal.
Spring (Pre-monsoon):
Pre-monsoon spring comprises the months of February, March, April, and May. Its weather is often dry and temperate.
This time of year is ideal for hiking in the Annapurna region because it provides a clear view of the mountains and surrounding landscape every day, with daytime highs of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of 8 to 12 degrees Celsius.
Thousands of new plants and foliage arrive in Nepal in the spring, adding to the beauty and enjoyment of the walk.
Autumn (Post-monsoon):
After the monsoon, autumn is a fantastic time of year to hike the 14-day Annapurna Circuit Trek. The months of September, October, November, and December fall into this category.
In the fall, ideal daytime temperatures range from 14 to 20 degrees Celsius, with overnight lows of 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. This weather is ideal for hiking.

Accommodation during the 14-day Circuit Trek to Annapurna
On the mountain, there are basic tea houses and trekking lodges for lodging. The views from the rooms of mountain tea houses are breathtaking, and the rooms are often double occupancy with a hardwood bed, blankets, mattresses, cushions, and adjacent bathrooms (but not always).
Similarly, single rooms are offered to female tourists traveling alone, except for Himalaya and ABC. Throughout the hike, we'll make sure you stay in the nicest tea houses that are accessible, offering breathtaking views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes.
Meals during the Annapurna Circuit Trek
The cuisine on the Annapurna Circuit trek is excellent and varied, offering just the right amount of energy for strenuous and lengthy walks. Along the way are teahouses and hotels that serve a variety of regional and foreign cuisine.
Momos (steamed dumplings), thukpa (noodle soup), and dal bhat (rice and lentil soup) are examples of traditional Nepalese foods that are comfortable staples.
Trekkers can also savor substantial breakfasts that include pancakes, oatmeal, toast, eggs, and other foods, guaranteeing a healthy start to the day.
For those who are in the mood for a lighter lunch, there is also a selection of fresh fruits, veggies, and locally grown produce that is both healthy and delicious.
What are the difficulties while trekking to Annapurna Circuit?
The Annapurna Circuit trek offers a number of difficulties, such as:
Altitude Sickness: Thorong La Pass in particular presents a significant danger of altitude sickness when the climb ascends over 5,000 meters, necessitating cautious acclimatization.
Unpredictable Weather: Abrupt weather changes, particularly in higher altitudes, might result in freezing temperatures, a lot of rain, or snow, which can make the hike hazardous and challenging.
Rocky & Steep Terrain: The track can be physically taxing, particularly for people who are not used to trekking, because it has rocky slopes, long ascents, and steep descents.
Remote Location: It's important to be ready for emergencies because portions of the walk go through isolated regions with little access to rescue or medical assistance.
Physical Endurance: A decent degree of fitness and stamina to withstand daily climbs ranging from 5 to 8 hours is required for the journey, which can last up to 14 days.
