Kathmandu Namo Buddha Tour with mountain flight to Everest

Kathmandu Namo Buddha Tour is a beautiful exploration of culture, nature, and mountains in Kathmandu valley and its surroundings. The Kathmandu Valley is also popular as the city of temples. This ancient valley has some of the most stunning and ornate architectures. The tour is a combination of Heritage Tour and nature exploration.

This short tour provides you with the opportunity to visit all the heritage sites in the valley. On day three we transfer you to the lovely old Newari town of Dhulikhel where we stay at our resort hotel. From the hotel, there are some fantastic views of the Himalayas.

From Dhulikhel, we visit Namobuddha, a noted Buddhist retreat. There is an amazing legend related to the Buddha. You can explore a beautiful monastery that holds amazing stories. Exploring the surroundings of the monastery will offer you beautiful vibes.

You will not only explore the cultural wonders but also enjoy the magnificence of mountains. In addition to the sightseeing, the tour takes you for a flight to the Everest. You will explore the mountain magnificence on a flight.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a member of Approved Holidays will be there to warmly welcome you for your transfer to a selected hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival and time permitting there is a short guided tour of the local markets for those interested. In the evening a meal at a traditional local restaurant is provided where we have a chance to go through your tour in more detail and answer any questions you may have. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing

Today we spend the whole day Sightseeing within The Kathmandu Valley; including visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square(Kings palace square),a complex of beautiful temples and shrines, Swayambhunath, one of the oldest temples in Kathmandu for Buddhists, Pashupatinath Temple one of the most revered holy cremation places for Hindus around the world and famous also for its pagoda style architecture. We also visit Boudhanath one of the largest of stupas in the world and the center of Buddhist faith in the valley. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 03: Mountain flight and transfer to Namobuddha

Today, early morning we take one of the most dramatic flights in the world. Before breakfast, we transfer to the domestic airport for the one hour flight to the base of Mount Everest. A flight that defies adequate description save to say it is one of the most memorable flights you will have ever taken, you have plenty of time to witness these dramatic peaks in all their glory, take photos and sit in awe of the highest mountain range in the world. On arrival back in Kathmandu, breakfast is taken at the hotel before we take the one and a half hour drive through the hills to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a well-kept old Newari town situated 30 km east of Kathmandu that has some wonderful mountain vistas. It has a traditional atmosphere; the town has some fine old Nepalese buildings and several interesting temples. After lunch, we visit the Namobuddha stupa set high amongst rolling hills above. Day 04: Transfer to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Today we drive back to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur where we stop for lunch. With its narrow brick paved streets and centuries-old beliefs and traditions, Bhaktapur has remained very much intact over the years with a hidden treasure of some sort around every corner. After lunch, we take the short drive back to our hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening a farewell meal is arranged. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 05: Departure

Depending on your departure time our representatives will be there to wish a fond farewell and safe journey with a wish to see you back again with us in the future before the transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for departure to your onward destination.
