Kathmandu

Bhaktapur and Nagarkot
Bhaktapur is traditionally known as Bhadgaon. It is populated by the Newar origin people. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the central tourist attraction in Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is dotted with various medieval artistic attractions, especially that of the temple, Durbar and museum. 55 Window palace, Taumadhi Square, Dattatraya temple, Nyatapola temple, Golden gate are some of the major attractions. Nagarkot is a popular tourist hill above Bhatapur. It is the best viewpoint of the dramatic peaks of the Langtang, Gaurishanker and Dorje Lhakpa Himalayan range. Bandipur
