Kathmandu Durbar Square

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a wide and amazing world heritage site. It is located in Bhaktapur, which is about half an hour drive from Kathmandu. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is loaded with the mysteries of ancient arts and architectures. 55 Window palace, Taumadhi Square, Dattatraya temple, Nyatapola temple, Golden gate, sacred pool, pottery square and several others to see. Changu Narayan Temple

The Changu Narayan temple is one of the ancient history of the Kathmandu valley, which is located above Bhaktapur. The pagoda style temple of Lord Visnu and the artistic fascinations are brilliant there. Some of the attractions in the Changu Narayan temple are Historical pillar erected by Mandeva in 464 AD, human faced Garuda, Statue of Bhupalendra Malla, Chanda Narayan (Garuda Narayan) – 7th century stone sculpture of Vishnu, Vishnu Vikrant and others.

Lumbini

Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destination, which is located in the southern part of Nepal, about 300 kilometers from the Kathmandu valley. The attractions in Lumbini include Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Museum, World Peace Pagoda, China Temple, Thai Monastery, Burmese (Myanmar) Temple and other colorful monasteries of various countries. Thousands of devotees and travelers come to Lumbini to explore the mystery and pay the homage.

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal that covers the area of 932 sq km. It was established in 1973 and included in the world heritage nature site in 1984. It is located in the tropical territory of the lowland region. The National Park is dominated by the Saal tree by 70%. 700 species of wildlife are found there along with 68 mammal species. The Chitwan National Park is a home of one horned rhino and the Royal Bengal Tiger. Sagarmatha National Park

Sagarmatha National Park was established in 1976 and included in world heritage site in 1979. It covers 1148 sq. km area. It is located in the Solukhumbu district, that is a paradise for the nature lovers and trekkers. It is a home of some of the tallest peaks in this world, including the highest peak- Mt. Everest (8848 meters). The Himalayan peaks, Lakes, Glaciers, alpine flora and fauna have made this national park diverse. The alpine flora like birch, juniper, blue pines, firs, pine and rhododendron is found along with the fauna species, musk deer, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear and red panda. Himalayan thars and Himalayan wolves. The Everest trekking is the first choice of the trekkers around the world that lies in Sagarmatha National Park.
